NEW FOR 2026! Added level Q (formerly level P) was entered by over 85% of our participants in 2025, and the pot for this winning fish was over $43,000. New for 2026: level Q2. Q2 is a $1,000 added entry. This prize will be awarded to the single heaviest dolphin weighing a minimum of 20 pounds, entered at this level. Should no teams weigh a 20-pound dolphin during the event, the prize money will be tolled to 2027. #offshorefishing #ocmd #sportfishing
NEW FOR 2026! This may be the Ocean City Tuna Tournament teams` favorite newly added entry-level, level L, Terrific Tuna. This prize will be awarded to the 1st 200 pound tuna boated. The boated time of the fish will be assigned by the Fishing Center dock office after being contacted. Eligible fish will be scored in the order they are boated, not in the order they are weighed. The first boated fish to weigh 200 pounds will win this level regardless of the outcome of the tournament. In the event there are no 200-pounders weighed by boats in level L, the prize money will be rolled to the following year. #ocmd #sportfishing #offshorefishing #tuna
NEW FOR 2026! Level F 50/30/20 Split is for boats NOT equipped with SONAR ONLY. This newly added entry-level pay is split equally between the Single Heaviest and Heaviest Stringer categories. NEW FOR 2026! Level C: Largest Dolphin or Wahoo for the day. This is an entirely new added entry for the 2026 Ocean City Tuna Tournament. This calcutta is a winner-takes-all for day 1 and day 2 of fishing. The prize will be awarded to the largest dolphin or wahoo, weighing a minimum of 20 pounds, each day. Tuna Tournament
Entering our 38th anniversary in 2025, the Ocean City Tuna Tournament has become the nation’s largest tuna tournament with a record payout that eclipsed $1,000,000 in each of the last two years! Boats of all sizes from up and down the East Coast have traveled to Ocean City, Maryland to not only fish in our vast ocean, but to also compete for big money in this first-class event. The three day event is full of anticipation, excitement and fun for all. The Ocean City Fishing Center has an extensive list of approved contractors who are allowed to work on the property. Approved contractors have fulfilled the requirements to perform services on the property. If you wish to use a contractor not on this list please have them contact the marina office prior to scheduling any service in order to verify they have the necessary license, insurance, and complete the outside contractor agreement.
