Notice to Mariners Transiting Ocean City Inlet (West), Sinupuxent Bay, and Commercial Harbor. USACOE recently dredged the federal channel of Ocean City Inlet, including the approach to the commercial harbor. This dredge effort dramatically improved the federal channel in this area. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐒). In the area immediately south of the federal channel, in the area of markers #11 & 13. All vessels should be aware of this area. See Photo for Reference

Note: this is a temporary issue that will be addressed when the Army Corps hopper Bargo dredge “Murden” returns to the area after completing its refit.
