The staff at the Ocean City Fishing Center thinks everyone should have a chance to catch the BIG ONE. Our dedicated employees work 7 days a week putting together Make-Up Charters.

What is a Make-Up Charter?
A Make-Up Charter is a group of 4 to 6 anglers each paying a total of $300.00 to the marina to go offshore fishing.

What will I catch?
Depending on the time of year you book your trip, you will be fishing for Bluefish, Shark, Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo and Dolphin. For a better idea on the time of year and what is caught in what month, click on "fishing schedule."

How do I sign up?
Call 1-800-322-3065 or stop by the Fishing Center while in Ocean City. We require payment in full upon making a reservation and leave us your name and a local phone number and show up on the morning of the trip. That's it!

Prices reflect 5% cash discount.

MAKE-UP CHARTER POLICIES

1. CANCELLATIONS (RESCHEDULES):
   1. Trip may be cancelled (rescheduled) 10 days prior to the date of the trip, resulting in a refund being issued. Any trips that are cancelled (rescheduled) less than 10 days will result in forfeited deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS.
   2. Weather cancellations may be rescheduled or a refund of all monies in full. The Captain reserves the right to cancel due to weather.
   3. No Shows - anyone that books a trip and does not show up will automatically forfeit all funds paid.
   4. Customers must be ready to fish on day(s) requested or they will forfeit all funds paid.
2. REFUNDS: There will be NO CASH REFUNDS issued. In the event of a cancelled charter in which payment was made by cash or check, the accounting department will issue checks within 10 business days of the trip. Any credit card transactions will be credited to the card at the time of cancellation.
3. DISPUTE: Any disputes regarding charter payment or charter policies must be submitted in writing to the Ocean City Fishing Center Administrative Office accompanied by a receipt obtained for any payment made to our facility.
4. TIPPING: A customary tip is generally 15% - 20% of the total cost of the trip.
5. All Charter vessels in this Marina will hold no more than 6 persons, fishing or not, during each trip. Your trip will also include a Captain and a Mate. Please remember that you are required to bring your food, drink (NO GLASS and NO HARD LIQUOR) and a cooler for your catch.
6. The Ocean City Fishing Center has until 7:00 PM the day before to put the trip together. The Charter Office will call you at the phone numbers you provided. It is highly recommended that you keep in contact with the Charter Office if you have any questions or concerns regarding your Make-Up Trip. The Ocean City Fishing Center is not responsible for any messages not received.

TAG AND RELEASE programs and conservation are encouraged by the Ocean City Fishing Center and the Charter Captains associated with OCFC. Our captains prefer and strongly suggest the release of all billfish and other species not intended for consumption.
